Open letter to my zills.

Dear Zills,

I know that I've been a little distant lately, you wouldn't be off the mark to call me neglectful. And I admit that it was totally my fault that I left you in the bag I packed for my last performance for like 3 weeks after. I wouldn't blame you if you were mad. Though, in my defense, you are a little shrill, and you give the cat the willies.

But I'm writing this letter to try and reconcile things between us. I promise to be more attentive. I promise to try to bring more spark and variety to our relationship.

Speaking of a spark... please don't be jealous. I'll be bringing a drum home soon, but I promise not to let the drum come between us! Please work with me so we can build a big percussive family together. Just pretend we're homesteading or something. If all goes well, how would you feel about a Riq? Ok, ok, sorry. Forget I asked.

My dearest Zills, I look forward to many more great years together!

Love,
Natalia
